Happy Valentines day to me!

It been a little while since my last post. To start off..Valentines day was amazing. My honey spoiled me rotten all weekend. Friday night we went to dinner and then he took me shopping. It might sound like it wasn't much but I have absolutely nothing to wear anymore. He absolutely hates shopping but he was so patient and sweet and even helped me pick out maternity clothes. He would sit outside the fitting rooms and bring different sizes if i needed them. He never once complained and didn't deny my anything I wanted.

Saturday night was the best. He told me what to wear but the rest was a surprise. He had made reservations at my all time favorite restaurant The Mona Lisa. Thats what he had been up to. Its kind of hard to get a reservation there. Its primarily a fondu restaurant but they also have the most amazing entrees. It was such a treat. No way could we afford to go there on just any ole date. The resuraunt is beautiful and completely candle lit. It has kind of an old Italy vibe and just is incredibly romantic. After out delicious dinner we had a white chocolate fondu. We had fruit, cheesecake, lady fingers and all kinds of goodies to dip in the fondu. When our dinner date was through I was too tired to do anything else. This pregnancy kicks my booty. So we came home and cuddled on the sofa and watched a movie. We both ended up falling asleep. I loved it! Perfect end to a perfect evening.

Happy Valentines Day

So Thomas and I decided to wait until this weekend to celebrate our Valentine's day. We don't have to fight for reservations and he already has our weekend planned. The anticipation is killing me! I want to know what he has been up to. He did recognize the day though and came home from work with a cute stuffed bear and a single rose. He's so thoughtful!

I spent the day babysitting and baking cute little Valentine's day treats! I Babysit a cute little eight month old boy named Mason Monday through Friday as kind of a part time job. Mason and I spent all day in the Kitchen and baked the cutest most delicious little cake truffles. I made over fifty of them, put them on little heart shaped plates and took them to my family members. Gosh I feel so darn domestic ha ha ha

I Heart V-DAY

I love valentines day. It is my second favorite holiday falling just below Christmas. First off I love having a valentine...especially now that mine is MINE forever :) I love how everything is pink and sparkly and pretty. I love how the grocery stores are stocked with the most beautiful flowers and everything is cute and heart shaped. Im so excited for this valentines day. I happen to be married to one of the most romantic men ever. He always does the sweetest things. This will be our third Valentines day together and he has never failed to amaze me.

Our first year together he bought me a bouquet of yellow tulips. They just happen to be my very favorite flower and they are not in season during valentines day. We drove to Bloomington and went to the mall of America. Then we went to Build A Bear and made the cutest teddybear that we named Spencer. we shopped for a while and went to an oxygen bar and got a massage. After shopping our little hearts out, it was quite a rejuvenating experience. We spent the rest of the evening in the theme park riding rides and then went to a romantic dinner after. It was so much fun.

The following Valentines day would have to be my very favorite though. Thomas had just moved to Idaho in January to go to BYU-I. He was a broke college student and had spent all his money to get a ride to boise to see me. He said he had gotten me a gift but it was no big deal because he was broke. On valentines day we went to dinner and then he presented my with a pretty pink and red glass that were filled with little hearts cut out of red paper. There were probably a hundred of them in there. On each little folded up heart in his handwriting, there was something that he loved about me. Spilling out of the cup there were red paper mach`e roses he had made. I was to read a little heart note everyday and I would know some of the reasons he loves me. Ha ha I read them all in one night and cried my eyes out. That was the sweetest gift ever. I still read those little heart notes sometimes.

I am so excited to see whats in store this year. I know he has been doing some planning but he's been very sneaky about it. He's really good at surprises. Gosh I love that man!
