Today marks one full year that I have been married to the love of my life. It makes me think back on all of our time together. Today I thought back to the beginning. To 2008 in Minnesota and the magic that happened there. My heart will always be fond of the midwest because thats where we fell in love. I'll never forget the tree lined Mississippi or our swing. We spent a lot of time on that swing overlooking that beautiful river. We held hands and shared dreams and sometimes just sat in silence, my head resting on your shoulder just taking it all in. Our swing was the best because it sat between the trees and overlooked the river directly to the west. We would sit and watch the sun set turning the river the most beautiful shades of pink and red. It seems as if we sat in that swing and literally watched summer fade into fall, the leaves changing before our very eyes. It was magnificent. I also remember when we had our short breakup. I would go sometimes and sit in that swing. I would occasionally have an encounter with our chipmunk friend that we dubbed Fred. I would talk to him and cry. I knew my life without you wasn't right. Im so glad i realized that then. So here's to an eternity's worth of anniversaries with my sweetheart and never having to swing alone. I love you Thomas Dean Treadaway. Happy anniversary babe!
